EXPERTISE AND THRUST AREAS:
Complete Denture:- A complete denture (also known as a full denture, false teeth, or plate) is a removable appliance used when all teeth within a jaw have been lost and need to be prosthetically replaced. In contrast to a partial denture, a complete denture is constructed when there are no more teeth left in an arch, hence it is an exclusively tissue-supported prosthesis. A complete denture can be opposed by natural dentition, a partial or complete denture, fixed appliances, or, sometimes, soft tissues.
Dental implants:- Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces tooth roots with metal, screwlike posts and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. Dental implant surgery can offer a welcome alternative to dentures or bridgework that doesn’t fit well and can offer an option when a lack of natural teeth roots don’t allow building dentures or bridgework tooth replacements. How dental implant surgery is performed depends on the type of implant and the condition of your jawbone. Dental implant surgery may involve several procedures. The major benefit of implants is solid support for your new teeth — a process that requires the bone to heal tightly around the implant known as osseointegration.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation:- Full Mouth Rehabilitation is conducted when the majority of the teeth in a patient’s mouth need restoration and correction. In this procedure, the entire mouth of the patient is taken care of, while also keeping a major focus on the aesthetic front.
In other words, full-mouth restoration combines aesthetics with the practices of restorative dentistry to improve the health, function, and beauty of the mouth. A complete mouth restoration is a set of dental procedures that are tailored to the patient’s specific needs. When reconstructing the mouth and restoring oral health, treatment options for jaw joints, bite, smile, and facial support are all taken into account. Full-mouth rehabilitation can replace missing teeth, repair teeth alignment, fill in gaps, treat periodontal disease, improve any TMD symptoms, improve your smile, boost confidence, and more importantly improve your overall health.
Maxillofacial facial rehabilitation:- Rehabilitation after resection of the hard or soft palate is best accomplished prosthodontically through an obturator. The purpose of an obturator is to restore physical separation between oral and nasal cavities thereby restoring speech and swallowing to normal and thereby providing support for the lip and cheek.
Cosmetic dentistry:- Cosmetic dentistry is dentistry aimed at creating a positive change to your teeth and to your smile. Advances in modern Cosmetic Dentistry in Lucknow have evolved to a point where the best smile possible can be achieved. Our patients are using one or more cosmetic procedures to create the smiles they have always wished for.
Smile Designing:- Dentistry has evolved from a curative to a creative science in a very short span of time. Esthetic dentistry has emerged as one of the most lucrative, progressive, and challenging branches of this field. A charming smile can open doors and knock down barriers that stand between one and a fuller, richer life. An attractive or pleasing smile clearly enhances the acceptance of the individual in society and the character of the smile influences to a great extent to the attractiveness. Dentistry has evolved from a curative to a creative science in a very short span of time. Esthetic dentistry has emerged as one of the most lucrative, progressive, and challenging branches of this field. The principles of smile design require an integration of esthetic concepts that harmonize facial esthetics with the dental facial composition and the dental composition. The dental-facial composition includes the lips and the smile as they relate to the face. The dental composition relates more specifically to the size, shape, and positions of the teeth and their relationship to the alveolar bone and gingival tissues. It is very important when planning treatment for cases of compromised esthetics, to not isolate smile design from a comprehensive and holistic approach to patient care. Achieving a successful, healthy, and functional result requires an understanding of the interrelationship among all the supporting oral structures.
Obstructive Sleep Apnea:- Several treatments have been proposed to treat obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) namely, nasal continuous positive airway pressure (nCPAP), surgical techniques, and the use of intraoral appliances (OAs). Oral appliances are basically mandibular repositioners(MRs) that advance the mandible and tongue base, increasing the space between the base of the tongue and the posterior pharyngeal wall. MAds are easy treatment options for OSA comparatively other treatment options.
