EXPERTISE AND THRUST AREAS:-

Aligners or invisible braces:- Clear Aligners are transparent trays made of special material that are used to straighten teeth just like braces. They use gentle and constant force to move the teeth in the required position without going through the hassles of metal wires and brackets. They are custom-made for each patient through a digital scan. They are custom-made for every person and designed to move teeth in the desired direction very very slowly. This is achieved by digitally capturing impression and processing the information using specialized software, where the future projections for better results and straighter teeth are computed and then the milling machine automatically custom fabricates the set of trays for you. On average, a person needs approximately 25-40 sets for complete alignment. The aligner comes with the advantage that there is no restriction on eating and drinking any foods as you will be removing them before every meal.

Temporary anchorage devices:- When possible, orthodontists use the back teeth as an anchor to bring about the movement of other teeth, but in many cases, using TADS can change that. These mini-implants can eliminate the need to use teeth as anchors, they can also provide an anchorage point for a pushing or pulling force that would otherwise need to be applied from outside the mouth: generally, via orthodontic headgear which can be uncomfortable. The use of TADS offers other benefits such as shorter overall treatment time and elimination of the need to wear elastics. These small screw-like devices are placed into the bone of the jaw. Placing and removing TADS is a minimally invasive, pain-free procedure. After the area being treated is numbed, the patient feels only gentle pressure as the device is inserted. The whole process takes a few minutes to complete. While they’re in place, TADS require minimal maintenance. Generally, they should be brushed twice daily with a soft toothbrush dipped in an antimicrobial solution. For those orthodontic patients who need TADS, it’s a treatment option that offers many benefits.

Functional orthodontics and orthopedics:- skeletal problems are corrected by more or less growth of one jaw than the other. Unfortunately, such an ideal solution is not always possible, but growth modification for skeletal problems can be successful.

The important principles to keep in mind when growth modification is considered for a preadolescent or adolescent are.

1)If you start Growth modification too late it doesn’t work but if you start too soon, it takes too long.

2)Growth occurs on a different timetable for the three planes of space.

3)Children’s compliance with treatment is affected by both their stage of maturation and the difficulty of the instructions given during treatment.

The timing of maturation and the potential to effect a change in the different facial planes is not uniform. For example, the maxillary growth in the transverse plane is the first to cease followed by the vertical and then sagittal growth.
Fixed functional correctors like Herbst appliance, Powerscope, MARA, Forsus appliance, etc. are popularly used in mixed dentition and early permanent dentition.

Smile designing:- Orthodontics is a specialty that treats patients in accordance with the principle of Jackson’s triad. Esthetic Harmony as described in the triad includes creating a smile at the end of the treatment where the dental structures are aligned, as well as structurally and functionally sound.

Orthognathic surgery:- Orthognathic surgery may help to correct problems with swallowing or speech, correct bite fit or jaw closure issues, correct facial asymmetry, relieve pain caused by temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, repair facial injury or birth defects, and provide relief for obstructive sleep apnoea. Surgery on the upper jaw may be performed to correct receded or protruding upper jaw, crossbite, abnormal teeth display during a smile, open bite, or reduced growth of the middle of the face. Whereas, the surgery on the lower jaw may be performed to correct a receding or protruding lower jaw and to correct any chin deformity. Orthodontists work hand in hand with oral and maxillofacial surgeons and through the surgery, it is possible to place the teeth and jaws in a more attractive, functional, and healthy position.

Rotary Endodontics:- Here at Revolution Dentistry, we are proud to offer an approach to smoother, more comfortable procedures when conducting root canal procedures. We use rotary endodontic technology to assist with the treatment of a root canal. There are several advantages to using rotary endodontic treatment over traditional root canal therapy, and it all starts with the tools. Instead of using traditional manual files and stainless-steel instruments to treat a root canal, Rotary endodontics employs electrically powered instruments to perform treatment on root canals. The hand tool we use is equipped with a tip made of nickel-titanium. This material is 5 times more flexible than stainless steel. Due to its flexibility, the nickel-titanium instrument is able to perform unique movements that allow the tool to insert deeply into a curved root canal without damaging or stretching the passageway. This allows a more reliable procedure to be done in a quicker manner.

Dental Implants:- Dental implant surgery is a procedure that replaces tooth roots with metal, screwlike posts and replaces damaged or missing teeth with artificial teeth that look and function much like real ones. Dental implant surgery can offer a welcome alternative to dentures or bridgework that doesn’t fit well and can offer an option when a lack of natural teeth roots don’t allow building dentures or bridgework tooth replacements.
